Padma Aerial Arts Summer Camps 2023
What to bring to Aerial Camp
*Leggings, shorts, a close fitting T shirt , a sports bra top, HAIR TIES
*A water bottle – extra water will be supplied
*Proper walking shoes
*A change of clothes and bathing suit, towel, sunblock, hat
*A packed lunch with fruits and vegetables and a healthy snack
*We will be taking a half hour snack break from 10:30-11am.
Campers are ONLY permitted to bring healthy snacks to camp.
Fruits and vegetables are preferred as they provide extra hydration, however other healthy snacks will be permitted. Some suggestions may include but are not limited to the following:
(oranges, apples, grapes, celery ,carrots, trail mix, granola bars etc)
NOTE: Candy, Chocolate, Chips etc will not be permitted.

8-8:30am drop off
8:30-9am warm up
9-10:30 First Aerial Lesson
10:30-10:45am snack break
11-12:15 Second Aerial Lesson
12:30-1:30 Lunch
1:30-2:30pm Third Aerial Lesson
2:30-3pm water break and observation of groups
3-4:30 Free Style, Act Creation and Choreography
4:30-5pm cool down and clean up
5-5:30pm Collection

Organizer Description
Hello! I’m Sophia Cannonier, a Second Generation Pilates Teacher of Teachers and the Visionary of Padma. In 1998, I introduced the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning to my island home of Bermuda. I have been teaching consistently for 35 years and Teacher Training for 25 years. My Pilates education began in 1987 under Romana Kryzanowska, continued with Bob Liekens and trained with many of the Pilates Vintage Masters. Having danced professionally with The Dance Theatre of Harlem, I am also certified in massage therapy and The Feldenkrais Method to name a few. I am married to Michael, a brilliant Structural Integration Practitioner and Yoga Teacher Trainer. We are the proud parents of threehome-birthedd, home (un)schooled and thriving children, Ravi ,Vidya and Inanna.
