Organizer Description

Shantel DeShield is a seasoned educator of 16 years with a passion for athletics. She has been employed at The Berkeley Institute since Sept 2009  teaching Physical & Health Education, while also coaching the Berkeley Girl's Football Team.  She has been working, leading and facilitating camps for about 25 years on her own and through Youth Sports & Recreation's Summer Camp Programs.  Shantel is an avid believer that children learn better when they are having fun through positive social interaction.
